Create a beautiful, meaningful, and affordable wedding
Trinity welcomes all requests for weddings and will perform marriages for couples of all sexual orientation and gender identity, except if there is evidence of serious abuse. We would be delighted to be a part of this special aspect of your life’s journey.
Trinity United Church Community Centre is dedicated to supporting people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs with meaningful ceremonies to acknowledge the important transitions in their life journeys. Our leaders include Atheists, Wiccans, Spiritualists and Christians. We are gay and transgendered supportive.
Both within our beautiful facility or at your chosen wedding site, our wedding officiants and ministers will help you and your partner construct a service that reflects your tastes and spiritual styles. You may have a service of your own in mind, but most couples enjoy our Wedding Construction Kit that is filled with options for each part of a ceremony, including ‘sand ceremonies’ and the ‘broom jumping ceremony’ for those from an African heritage.
Whether you want a ceremony that has no God language or you desire your wedding to be a profound moment of worship or something in-between, our role is to assist you in creating a meaningful experience you will treasure for a lifetime.
The fee for ceremonies provided outside of our facility is $300. The fee for ceremonies in our attractive, recently renovated sanctuary is $600 and includes a rehearsal and a play list or organist for the wedding.
We have other professional musicians available to work with you to provide the ambiance you have dreamed of for your special ceremony, reception or both. Whether you want a soloist or a full band, we can accommodate you at a very reasonable cost.
Our Junior Hall is also available at no cost for a get together after your rehearsal if you wish.
A Gift to Invest in Your Happiness
Because we are motivated by kindness and not profit, we want to gift you with the best support possible as you enter the new adventure of marriage.
Every couple receives from Trinity the gift of a free Relationship Enhancement Workshop with a therapist who is a marriage specialist, a $150 value. This optional, two Saturday workshop respects the privacy of couples as it is not based on group sharing. An engaging presentation based on scientific research affirms your strengths as a couple. It highlights key actions you can take to invest in a long, happy life together. Feedback from couples who attend is extremely positive.
Stag & Doe and Wedding Receptions
Life will be simpler and cost less money if you choose Trinity as the place to host your Stag and Doe and Wedding Reception. Whether you want to rent space, obtain your own liquor licence and cater these events yourselves or would like us to take care of all the details, having all your events at one place provides lots of benefits.
Instead of dealing with many people, you will have an enjoyable time getting to know and organizing your events with a couple of caring people who will be dedicated to making everything a success.
Some Ways to Save Money
Because Trinity is a “not for profit” organization, you will not be charged HST of 13%. Every price we quote is the price you will be charged.
Our Great Hall has an excellent sound system. Instead of hiring a DJ, you may wish to put a dance track together and use our sound person at a cost of $150. Requests for songs can also be made ‘on the spot’ as our facility has Wi-Fi.
Trinity has been serving delicious “home cooked” food for over 100 years. Starting at $29 a person, we can provide a complete buffet with 2 meats and vegetarian entrées, including wine. Plated service begins at $39. Open bar and cash bar packages are available.
In every case, our house wines (Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc) are available for dinner at no additional charge.
Your events can be as fancy as your budget and preferences allow. The discounts we have with photographers, floral shops and wedding decorators are passed on to you. Many couples enjoy decorating the Great Hall themselves. We like to provide you with choices…Your Day, Your Way.

Our building is accessible – with lifts covering 5 of the 6 floors – and fully appointed for a wide range of activities. Staff are available to officiate weddings, funerals, baptisms, and more.
Great food can also be provided along with bands, trivia nights, and murder mystery dinners. Our modern commercial kitchen is ready for your use, or catering is available. You also have the satisfaction of knowing that your money is going to help the community.

Great Hall and Kitchen
Our Great Hall is a spacious, attractive venue for parties, banquets, dances, and performances of all kinds.
Recently renovated and tastefully decorated, your guests will appreciate the ambience whatever the occasion. With acoustic panelling, a powerful sound system, and elevated stage, the hall is ideal for live music and theatre.
The Great Hall features:

- Two gender neutral washrooms
The kitchen is available for rent as part of your event, or on its own for your food preparation needs. It includes:

- Tableware and dishwasher

Our beautiful sanctuary creates a bright, welcoming environment for weddings, memorials, live performances, film screenings, and more – with fixed seating for 250, and lift-accessible entrance and washrooms.
We’re happy to accommodate your use of the space, from formal ceremonies to large bands. Officiation for ceremonies is available at affordable cost.
A state-of-the-art audio and video system, ensures your guests will see and hear with perfect clarity. Live music is available in both traditional and contemporary styles, with an organ and band in-house. High ceilings make for excellent acoustics, making the sanctuary ideal for performing or recording with natural reverb.
No matter the occasion, Trinity’s sanctuary lends an air of dignity and warmth to make your special day complete!
Junior Hall & Upper Hall
For medium-sized groups, our junior and upper halls are versatile spaces with countless uses. With plentiful floor space and configurable seating, these halls are ideal for meetings, social gatherings, rehearsals, workshops, training and more.
The junior hall, in the lower level, has laminate flooring and ready access to other rooms.
The upper hall is carpeted, and comes equipped with a large flatscreen TV and sound system. Note: the upper hall is not wheelchair accessible.
Meeting Rooms & More
For small gatherings, conversations, and private events, Trinity has comfortable and accessible meeting rooms.
Our parlour seats approximately 20 on comfortable couches, or can be reconfigured for larger groups and more open seating arrangements. Light refreshments can be served from a nearby kitchenette.
The family room is a cozy space for up to 6 people, ideal for one-on-one or small conversations in a quiet, comfortable environment.
